Britain’s Bravest Superhero Cat Save Its Owner From Bullies

Ethan Fenton, 5, was just playing in their front yard with his two-year-old brother, Ashton when he got saved by Smudge. The cat their family has since they fell in love with him at first sight.

Bullying and Power

According to Ethan’s mom Sarah, 26, she was already keeping an eye on a group of boys who were playing football in the front garden.

She then saw three boys who were taller than Ethan approach him. They shouted Ethan’s name twice, but the boy just kept his head down and continued playing with his brother.

And then one of the boys got in Ethan’s face and said “Oi! Why are you ignoring me?” And then pushed him over.

More powerful

Sarah immediately rushed outside to rescue her sons, and that’s when she saw Smudge, their tabby cat fly out from under their car and jump on the boy’s chest.

Shock, more than anything made the boys stumble backward and eventually burst into tears as they ran off.

Love at first sight

Smudge has been with the Fenton family for three years. Ever since Sarah fell in love with him at first sight after being left heartbroken as their previous cat who only stayed with them for 18 months died.

“When they showed us Smudge it was love at first sight.”

Sarah also added that in Smudge’s three years with them, never did he show any signs of heroism.

However, it is with great pride that she shares how brilliant it is to see Smudge look out after Ethan like that.

“He has never done anything like that before but it was absolutely brilliant seeing him look out for Ethan like that.”

As if not satisfied with the crying bullies, Smudge decided to sleep outside Ethan’s door ever since.

“He has slept outside his bedroom keeping guard since it happened.”
